Teddy (right) was born and raised in Njari Village in Kilimanjaro region. There were 10 kids in her family and her parents couldn't afford her education. Her neighbors collected money and helped her to go to school. They kept supporting her until she finished the study in Ecology in the college. Teddy had massive appreciation to her community and decided to give it back - that's how Njari Tours was founded in 2009.
HELP THE POOR
Part of our revenue helps constructing safer homes for poor families in rural area. A simple concrete house is around $1000 USD.
JUBILANT ORPHANAGE
Our business is essential for keep orphanage running for more than 10 years. We welcome everyone to visit our orphanage.

We respect our professional and hardworking team. We pay porters decent wages and provide them high-quality clothes, hiking equipment and well-balanced 3 meals.

Njari is a women-owned social enterprise comprised international profession. We are happy to serve tourists from all over the world in 3 different languages- English, 中文 and Swahili.

Taiwanese designer volunteered in Tanzania 2016. She helped rebranding the business and website design. She is also in charge of customer service.
